I was there tonight and Jason, as he often does, nails it. Oliver Perez was terrific—he even got squeezed a bit and didn’t flinch. He didn’t even get spooked by lousy plays—Danny Murphy, I love you, but you need to know when to throw home, dog. Like when the runner is trying to score from second on a sharply hit single. And Reyes’ first-to-home comedy of errors was incredible. That guy is seriously a marvel. We take him for granted.
