Saw the movie this weekend. It’s perfunctory and culturally distant. Director Stacey Peralta (Dogtown and Z-Boys) wasn’t the right filmmaker, despite best intentions for a stop-the-madness polemic. Also, isn’t a bit strange that this Wayne/Snoop co-sign comes from two men who regularly trade on their red and blue affiliations?
