MGMT - “Electric Feel”

I admit to crazy, unwarranted skepticism of this band when their debut dropped earlier this year. Lots of red flags: signed to a major having played zero live shows, foolishness spoken in interviews, nu-hippie look. I was wrong on this one and I learned it from a bizarrely unexpected source, a famous man who compared this record to “that BBQ, block party shit.” This video is probably a bit too distracting, but this song is fucking with “Hi Haters (Remix).” Ladies and gentleman, the new Frankie Beverly and Maze?
